Our horse camp offers a range of programs for the new rider to the advanced rider. The program has been developed to give campers a safe, fun and educational horse camp experience. Campers will spend most of the day participating in horse related activities. Horse Campers will also have an opportunity to experience some of the other programs offered at camp such as recreational swimming, evening activities and much more.* see specific programs for details
Horse Program Goals
1. Development of individual riding skills. Campers will be placed in riding classes appropriate to their riding level according to the riding assessment form and Instructor evaluation. Campers will receive a riding progress report at the end of the week so campers and parents can see the progress made.
2. Expand knowledge of equine science through horse management and care classes.
3. Learn responsibility through daily care of assigned horse.
4. Demonstration of skill. Campers with their Instructor will develop a riding demonstration for Friday’s Demo Day.
5. Have fun with horses in a safe and nurturing environment.
Young Riders Program-for ages 5-7. Cost $405 per week. A horse day program for our youngest campers. This program is for those campers new to riding. Campers will spend 1/2 hour learning basic riding skills and 1 hour participating in horsemanship activities at our new rider facility. The campers will spend the rest of their day with the Clover bud program participating in all our fun camp programs such as farm animals, swimming, arts and crafts, nature and more!
Saddle Up Day Program-for ages 8-14. Cost $425 per week.This program is designed for those campers who have had little or no riding experience (less than 5 riding lessons). And who do not have their own horse. Campers will spend the 1/2 a day learning horsemanship in our specially designed new rider facility. Campers will spend an hour a day learning basic riding skills. Campers will also learn good horse management skills, along with how to feed horses, groom, tacking up, and other basic horse care procedures. Campers will be able to participate in other camp activities of their choice such as swimming, boating, archery, arts and crafts and other fun camp activities. Campers by the end of the week should feel comfortable around horses and be able to ride at the walk independently.

NEW-In the Saddle Day Program for ages 8-14. Cost $445 per week.This program is designed for those campers who have begun their riding experience (less than 20 riding lessons) and do not have their own horse. Campers will spend half the day developing horsemanship skills in our specially designed new rider facility. One hour of each day is dedicated to learning basic riding techniques. Campers will also learn horse management skills, how to feed horses, grooming, tacking up and other basic horse care procedures. This program also allows participation in other camp activities of their choice such as swimming, boating, archery, arts and crafts.
Suggested for Level Three Riders
NEW-Horse Lovers Day Program Ages 8-16 Cost: $465 per week.An advanced beginner/intermediate horsemanship program for those children who do not have their own horse, and do not want to camp overnight. The program brings together young people who have been introduced to riding and the love of horses but, do not have their own. The program is open to English and Western riders. Campers will have a riding evaluation on Sunday. Campers will be partnered with a horse for the week that is appropriate to their riding level. Campers will share the responsibilities with a buddy for feeding, grooming, cleaning their stall and preparing to ride their assigned horse. Campers will participate in a variety of fun learning activities and workshops throughout the week. Campers must be able to tack up a horse independently Suggested for Level Four through Six.
NEW-Horse Lovers Half/Half Day Program Ages 8-16 Cost: $445 per week.NEW-Horse Lovers Day Program Ages 8-16 Cost: $465 per week – An advanced beginner/intermediate horsemanship program for those children who do not have their
own horse, and do not want to camp overnight. This program brings together young people who have a love for horses and want to enjoy the other activities camp has to offer. The program is open to both English and Western riders. Following an evaluation, campers will be partnered with a horse for the week that is appropriate to their riding level. Campers, along with their assigned buddy, will be responsible for feeding, grooming, cleaning, and preparing their horse for riding instruction; however campers must be able to tack up a horse independently.
Campers will spend half the day at the horse barn and the rest of the day participating in other camp activities of their choice such as swimming, boating, archery, and arts and crafts. Suggested for Level Four through Six

Day Programs run Monday through Friday 8:15-5:00 and include lunch. Camp registration will be on Monday morning. All campers are encouraged to come early Monday morning so that they can select their schedule for the week. Campers will see the Health Care Supervisor and get their swim and/or Riding evaluations on Monday. Parents should pack a bag of clothes each day that includes a bathing suit and rain gear. Parents may wish to sign their children up for extended morning 7:15-8:15 which includes breakfast or extended evening which includes dinner that ends at 6:30. All campers must be picked up on Friday by 5:30 pm.
Extended Morning- for ages 5-14. , cost $25 per week. Hours 7:30- 8:30 Day Campers may join us for breakfast for the week! Campers will sit with their cabin group and join the overnight children for breakfast!
Extended Evening- for ages 5-14 , cost $25 per week. Hours 5:00pm to 6:30 pm Campers will join us for a hot dinner before they go home! Pick up is at 6:30.
Note: all campers must be picked up by 5:30 on Friday. There is no dinner on Fridays.
